Brie is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she earned her Masters degree in Social Work. She received her Bachelor degree in Psychology with a concentration in forensics from Southern New Hampshire University.

Brie is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), and has worked in an OTP outpatient center providing individual counseling for the last 5 years. In addition, Brie maintains a clinical role working within a community-based agency conducting emergency services and psychiatric evaluations. Brie has previously held clinical roles working with at-risk youth within a youth residential center and secure treatment facility. Brie is trained in therapeutic crisis management, suicide prevention, and working with families impacted by Substance Use Disorder.

Brie’s therapeutic approach to counseling comes from a variety of disciplines; with an emphasis on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). Brie strongly believes in a client centered approach and “meeting clients where they’re at.” Brie is working towards becoming certified in EMDR Therapy to add to her therapeutic approaches.
