Emily Carey, MS, LCMHC is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the states of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She has experience working as a psychotherapist since 2012. She received her BA in Psychology from Wheaton College, and her MS in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Emily has experience working with clients with a wide range of presenting issues and concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, life transition and adjustment issues, grief/loss, self-esteem, communication, parenting problems, and women’s issues. She works primarily with individuals from late adolescence/early adulthood through adulthood. Emily enjoys helping people work through life’s challenges to improve their overall well-being, sense of self, and quality of life. Her therapy style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative to help individuals identify their needs as well as personal goals they would like to work towards, and empower them by bringing out their inner-strengths to achieve these goals. Her approach includes a combination of psychodynamic, person-centered, cognitive behavioral, strengthsbased, and solution-focused therapies. Emily understands the strength and courage it takes to explore personal issues and work towards making positive change in one’s life and is here to support you through this process.
