Amanda Nortrup is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) providing individual therapy services to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults at Family Counseling Associates. 

Amanda understands each client is unique and requires a personalized approach to treatment. She uses a warm, judgement free, strengths based approach to empower her clients to explore their concerns, develop skills, and reach their goals.  

Amanda graduated with her B.A. in Psychology from UMass Boston in 2012, and her Master of Social Work degree with a concentration of children, youth, and families from Boston College in 2015.

Prior to joining Family Counseling Associates, Amanda worked in a wide range of clinical settings which allowed her to work with individuals and families as they cope with mental health concerns, substance abuse, behavioral health, life transitions, grief, and end of life issues.
