I use strength based, dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. I believe giving people a safe place to process their thoughts and feelings in a nonjudgmental and supportive setting is the cornerstone in treatment. I use a balance of open communication and directness with a sense of humor and hope to make the therapy process comfortable and enable my clients to reach their goals and gain strengths and skills to move forward in their life in a positive and healthy direction.” She has experience in treating depression, anxiety, co-occurring disorders, trauma, and grief and anger management. The settings have included community mental health, correctional and department of youth services.
