Christine Perry is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Associate Clinical Director of Family Counseling Associates. She provides individual therapy to adults through an eclectic, compassionate, and client centered approach.
 
Christine values the therapeutic relationship and strives to build an authentic, collaborative, and non-judgemental space for clients. This creates a dynamic to have honest conversation around the challenging moments in life (past and present), as well as moments that deserve celebration. She utilizes a variety of theraupeutic techniques including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Psychodynamics, depending on the needs of the client. She practices from a trauma informed, strength based, solution focused approach, with a touch of humor when appropriate.
 
Christine holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from High Point University and a Masters in Counseling & Psychological Services from Salem State University. Her diverse clinical experience includes partial hospitalization programs, outpatient clinics, and medication assisted treatment programs for substance use. She has and continues to assist clients with management of anxiety and substance use, navigating life transitions, relationship dynamics, self exploration, and more.
