Tami Melville, APRN, DNP
Tamara Melville is a certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. She obtained both her Master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Utah, specializing in psychiatric mental health advanced practice nursing.
Tamara has been practicing as a nursing practitioner for over 10 years. Her specialty is treating children and adolescents, while working with families experiencing mental health issues. She offers psychopharmacologic treatment for children, adolescent, and adult clients. Her clinical experience has been primarily with adolescents and young adults in residential and partial hospitalization settings.
Tamara is certified and skilled in treating patients with dual diagnoses of mental health disorders and addictions. Her clinical focus is on eating disorders, depression, anxiety, panic disorders, ADHD testing and treatment, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and developmental adjustment and attachment disorders in children and adolescents.
Tamara is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), and International Nurses Society of Addiction. She is board certified through the International Nurses Society of Addictions as a Certified Addiction Registered Nurse-Advanced Practice (CARN-AP).
