Danielle Carroll, LMHC is a psychotherapist currently providing services to children, adolescents, and young adults. Danielle utilizes a client-centered, strengths-based approach that allows her clients to feel empowered to build the skills they need to improve their quality of life. She uses a nurturing, nonjudgmental approach and incorporates humor and play into her practice, which allows her to develop relationships with clients who have historically struggled to develop healthy and safe attachments to caregivers.
Danielle often accesses aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Expressive Arts Therapy in her practice in order to meet the individualized needs of her clients.
Danielle graduated with a Master of Arts from Lesley University in 2018 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Expressive Arts Therapy, and is now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts.
Danielle has experience working with youth in a wide variety of settings, including residential treatment programs, juvenile detention centers, schools, outpatient clinics, and in-home, and is comfortable addressing a range of treatment issues, including trauma, attachment issues, mood disorders, anxiety, gender identity issues, and more.
