Cristina Vesprini, LMHC
Psychotherapist – Burlington, MA
I believe Feeling Good matters, and that it takes strength and courage to seek out therapy. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a passion for working with individuals who want to work together in your own path to healing. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Curry College, and a Master’s of Science in Education in Mental Health Counseling from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. I strive in providing a safe space for clients where growth and transformation can occur, and believe that when a client and therapist form a connection, the healing process can begin.
I currently provide individual and adolescent therapy to ages 11+ years. In my clinical background, I have provided individual, child, and family therapy, as well as clinical home-based services. I also was a school based therapist for a middle school, grades 6-8, and provided therapeutic services within the school setting. I have experience working with childhood and adult trauma, depression/post-partum depression and anxiety, suicidality and self-harm, as well as mood and personality disorders.
I currently specialize in chronic medical conditions, Grief and loss, adolescent and adult trauma, adjustment and life changes, as well as relationship issues and family dynamics. I like to work together with my client to explore how major life events, such as a trauma or a loss may impact their attachments and relational patterns. I do in this an eclectic approach, seeing what works best for each client, as I believe “One size does not fit all.” My goal is to work with clients collaboratively, helping you to build a renewed sense of trust, as well as building upon your own personal resiliency to reach your goals within the therapeutic journey.
