Moira MacLean-Wideman, M.A.

Moira MacLean-Wideman, M.A. serves as a mental health therapist at Family Counseling Associates providing counseling to adolescents and adults ranging from 13 years and older. They hold an M.A. from Boston College and a B.S. from Southern Oregon University.
Moira’s clinical interests include working with issues on race, culture, sexuality, and gender identity within an anti-oppression framework. They treat mood and anxiety disorders, addiction, body image issues, gender dysphoria, trauma/PTSD, and chronic illness issues within a social justice-informed practice. They employ an eclectic model to therapy, including Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT),
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered, and feminist modalities. Outside of work, Moira enjoys traveling, reading, creative writing, and photography.
