Psychotherapist – Nashua, NH

I’m Michelle, I’ve been working in this field in various settings and states since 2014.  The bulk of my experience thus far has been working with folks of all ages and with many treatment goals in an acute care setting. CBT and DBT are the primary treatment modalities I’ve focused on, but we will discuss the best way for you to learn new skills and adapt with techniques that fit your needs. I believe it is critical to have a trauma-informed approach to working with everyone, to ensure clients feel safe and heard. I also find using a strengths-based lens is critical to helping clients feel empowered to reach their goals. Working together, we will discuss not only your history, but what we can do to work together to help you work through your next steps. Figuring out ‘where you are’ is equally important to defining ‘where you want to be’.

I also think it’s important for you to feel confident that therapists are “real” people too. When I’m not in session, I can almost definitely be found with my nose in a book or getting dragged around outside by my dog! I’m looking forward to working with you!
