Lindsey DeCoff, LICSW

Lindsey is a warm and relational therapist who holds a judgment-free and strengths-based space to empower her clients to develop skills to address their identified goals. Lindsey utilizes various treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, psychodynamic, and solutions-focused. While utilizing each modality, Lindsey maintains an understanding of the impacts of neurobiology on the healing process, as well as the systems and environments in which each of us are placed.
Lindsey graduated with her B.A. in Psychology & Women’s and Gender Studies from Brandeis University in 2013. She went on to graduate in 2018 with her Master of Social work degree from Boston College.
Prior to joining Family Counseling Associates, Lindsey worked in acute psychiatric care, where she previously served inpatient hospitals and a partial hospitalization program. Each level of care allowed her to work with individuals, couples, and families as they cope with a wide array of mental health concerns.
Her expertise includes the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, stress management, self-esteem, substance use, life transitions, and end of life care. Lindsey believes strongly that developing good rapport between client and therapist is foundational to the healing process.
