Kelly is graduate of Suny Albany where she earned her Masters degree in Clinical Social Work. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. Within her masters program, she gained counseling experience with the Academic Recovery Program at SUNY Albany, assisting undergraduate students with their mental and physical needs. She had also interned at St. Catherine’s Center for Children, as a community-based clinician providing in-home therapy to children and families within the Capital Region of New York. Kelly is extremely passionate about mental health and assisting others in being and feeling their best. She is solution-focused and tends to use a warm and supportive person-centered approach, modifying her counseling to best fit each individual. She strives to help each client to find their own strengths.

Kelly believes in partnering with her clients in order to help them reach their therapeutic goals. She is a psychotherapist that utilizes many different interventions, such as CBT, DBT, play therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, among many others. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Kelly works with a variety of psychosocial matters such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, trauma, transitions of life, and other areas of concern.
