John is a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist. He received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Louisiana State University and completed extensive pre- and postdoctoral training in neuropsychological assessment at the Boston and Minneapolis VA Healthcare Systems. John has a particular specialty in the assessment of neurodegenerative diseases, traumatic brain injury and neurodevelopmental disorders (such as ADHD). An accomplished researcher, John has over 50 peer-reviewed articles in academic journals. His research has focused on better understanding the relationship between patients’ cognitive difficulties and problems they encounter in their everyday lives, such as risk of automobile accident. He has held leadership positions within several professional neuropsychological organizations, including the International Neuropsychological Society and the Association of Neuropsychology Students and Trainees.
