Elyse Bourcier, MSW, LICSW
Psychotherapist – Bedford, NH
Elyse Bourcier, MSW, LICSW is a licensed independent clinical social worker providing counseling to children, adolescents and their families. Her approach is strength-based and uses a variety of therapeutic styles based on what will help you best heal and meet your goals.
I find it a privilege to learn about the inner world and experiences of children and believe that while children have the capacity to feel the same range of emotions as adults, they do not always have language to explain or make sense of them, leaving them to communicate through their behavior. I strive to create a space of safety, curiosity and reflection that supports children and caregivers in developing confidence, discovering their strengths and growing to be the best versions of themselves.
Elyse received her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of New Hampshire and her Master of Social Work from Simmons College. Following her education, she worked in an intensive outpatient mental health setting providing individual therapy within the community to children and adolescents experiencing obstacles associated with ADHD, depression, anxiety, disruptive behaviors and trauma.
