Devin Longland, MSW
Psychotherapist – Bedford, NH
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts in 2015. I continued to earn my Master of Social Work from Boston University.
I am a warm, empathic, vibrant therapist with an eclectic approach to therapy. I utilize several different evidence-based practices in treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Expressive Therapies, and other modalities.
I had the honor of working with children and adolescents in a residential treatment setting for over five years. I worked with children and adolescents with a range of different psychosocial issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, trauma, substance use, family dysfunction, and other areas of struggle. During my graduate studies, I interned at Edith Nourse Rogers Veteran Hospital, where I worked closely with Veterans and their caregivers in inpatient, outpatient, and community living settings.
I am passionate about helping people feel heard, validated, and understood. I believe that every individual is amazingly different and brings such intense, intimate feelings, stories, values, and experiences. I believe that every person has the ability to live an authentic life free of anxiety and suffering if only given the tools to navigate life’s stressors.
