Jennifer Hills, LMHC
Jennifer Hills has over twenty years’ experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She is experienced working with very young children and is certified as an Early Intervention Specialist. She received her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Lesley College (now University) in 1997. She has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, Early Intervention, a domestic violence program and a substance abuse clinic.
Jennifer believes in a strengths based approach and also integrates humor whenever possible and appropriate. She draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, expressive therapies, play therapy and family systems models to create individualized treatment plans.
Jennifer’s clinical areas of interest include: anxiety, ADHD, ASD, OCD, OPP and anger management, and learning disabilities. She enjoys helping parents with behavior strategies and coordinating with school personnel to optimize children’s ability to learn and feel successful.
