Christopher Bomil, MA
Christopher Bomil is a fourth-year doctoral level student at William James College working towards his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He has had three prior practicum placements each spanning 10 months. Christopher began his graduate placements at Lowell Treatment Center in their adolescent partial hospitalization program where he provided group therapy and case management services. His second placement was in Chelmsford at Bridgewell Counseling Services which allowed him to provide individual therapy to individuals across the lifespan. His most recent practicum experience took him to Manchester, NH at Veteran and First Responders Healthcare working in an intensive outpatient treatment center for military veterans and first responders suffering from substance use and other co-occurring disorders. He comes to Family Counseling Associates of Andover with experience working with individuals with PTSD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, substance use disorders, anger, ADHD, and more. Christopher has interest in working with individuals of all ages teaching coping skills, increasing autonomy and self-esteem, reducing stigma, and discovering pathways to recovery on mental health issues through relational and multimodal pathways. Christopher received his Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH in 2016. In 2018, he received an en route Masters of Art in Professional Psychology from William James College. He continues to work towards his final educational goal of obtaining his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College in Newton, Massachusetts.
